I had such a great experience at Under The Volcano. The service was Amazing, the food was Perfect and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend to friends definitely!!
In response to Linda - The point of a review is to evalute a restaurant on the quality of food, among other things. Those who don't like Mexican wouldn't visit anyway! The people who have reviewed on this site, did just that - reviewed a Mexican eatery and passed their judgement. Silly woman.

Service I had was quite good. Attentive young man.
The burritto was bland, the beans were bland and the rice was overcooked. And when a group of 20 people are saying the same thing about all of their dishes... perhaps Under the Volcano should re-evaluate their entrees. It would be a shame to never return to such a nicely decorated, fun restuarant. Little work please!
I had hoped since mexi's closed this company would be able to succeed .Not a chance does it compare . Our rice was way overcooked maybe left over from previous day ?? The staff was running around with no direction no-one appeared to know who was doing what, we had 3 different waiters. We waited nearly 1 hour to be seated and then nearly 454 minutes for our cold food and my hubby finally had to go find some one so we could pay the bill and get out of there. Never again!!

Just moved to Londonfor school from Huntsville Alabama. We love Mexican food and were apprehensive about finding any in Canada. This place rocks! We are so glad we'll have a place to go for the three years we'll be in town.
Our server, a little older fellow, was a riot. Kept it fun and entertaining. He recommended the Cayanne beef and a hot (spicy) margarita. Both were incredible. My wifes chicken enchilladas looked good, she said they were, but my mouth was onfire from my cayanne beef, and i really couldn't taste them. She enjoyed them.
Londons lucky to have a great Mexican place. For those who say it's not 'authentic' Mexican,I guess it's not. But then again, would you really want 'authentic' Mexican. Only those who have travelled as we have, extensively in the interior of Mexico, know that you're much better with Tex-Mex or Ca-Mex.
Under the Volcano does both well. Good food, good service, and comfy place.
