My wife and I have been dining at R U for several years. I have always found it so amazing that after so many years the staff members are all still familiar...especially in the hospitality industry. It truly is a family dining experience. The food is great and the service is always exceptional.
The food was quite good and the portions were rather nice. Next time I'll be ordering the quesadilla! The service was extremely friendly and she came around at all the right times. The establishment was clean and my only hesitation would be that the restaurant is located in shady looking mall. We didn't have the bother of other patrons as some other reviewers had, maybe they just had bad timing?
My husband and I love this restaurant. We have been going at least once a month for the last several years, and even though we tend to have the same things, it is a restaurant we know that when we try something new, we won't be disappointed. My husband called ahead on our first anniversary and asked if they could have our favourite meals ready for when we arrived. We went in, and they had our food hot and ready for us. They even gave us complimentary chocolate cheesecake with sparklers in it.
The wait staff is always very accomidating and friendly, and the food is always delicious with portions big enough to have leftovers to bring home.
This is our all-time favourite place to eat!
P.S. To the person who rated a 4 because someone in the mall was staring at them... the only way someone could stare at you eating is if you had the mall-side curtains pulled open and you were staring as well. Just because one person was staring at some goofball looking out behind the restaurant curtains shouldn't impose on the overall rating of this wonderful restaurant.
