We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile. I know there were issues with this place but over the last month management seem to have made a real effort to get things sorted out with a new bar person and new staff and a manager that now walks the floor to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Today we were served by Erika (2nd day on the job). She took the order and we were delivered exactly as requested - food piping hot, extra sauces the full works. Service was amazing - our glasses were never empty.
Food as always is great - hot, fresh and served to order! Definately worth a try if you havent been before

When you go to chain restaurant, you often get apathy, slow service, and usually something below par. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, when we were seated, they did the server's name in crayon as many chains do, but also pointed out where the washrooms are and told us explicitly that we could ask any server for anything if she was not visible. The chocolate milkshake was loved by my daughter, and was nice and thick with the extra that didnt make the glass served in the stainless stell container it was made in. We were getting worried about service when our brushetta bread took so long, but the server showed up, and apologized for the delay telling us the original order was not up to par, so they remade it, and because of the delay, it was on the house. WOW - free food and I didnt have to complain at all. The chicken fajita was served sizzling hot and the wings were very good. The atmosphere is typical for a bar and grill, targetting the younger crowd. The staff all wore blue t-shirts with cheeky slogans such as "Please tip well - i know that's not your wife" and the servers are selected for certain assets that goes well beyond statistical coincidence. I would go back with the guys, or a business client, but not really a family place, but the food was very good, service was excellent, and little things like stocking diet redbull as well as the regular blue can, made it a great place to eat.

Myself and my husband went for dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time. The crab cakes and wings were delicious. The hunter chicken and sirloin steak were cooked perfectly and tasted good too. The dessert trio snd tiramisu coffee topped it off well. Will definitely go back again. I love Charlie's Steakery! The food is so good! We ordered our sandwiches and was waiting for them. The man behind the counter forgot about our french fries. He was very apolegetic and kind. He said after we get our sandwiches, to sit down and he would bring our french fries to us. We received our sandwiches, which were delicious, and we sat down. After a few minutes, the man gave us our french fries, and a free glass of lemonade. He said the lemonade was for forgetting the french fries. Such a nice guy! The food can't be topped, and I will definitely return again. This is the best fast-food place I have ever been to. The service was excellent!

This is by far the best place for Suya in Toronto, Ontario. And perphaps the whole of Canada. Excellent customer relations and perfect suya with an authentic Nigerian flavour and the natural palm juice to wash it down. Oh! Words can't explain the beautiful release of such satisfaction you get. I introduced my Canadian husband to it, and now he is hooked. I read many reviews from many places and decided I didn't want to visit this place, after bumping into a friend who had RAVE reviews I decided to give it a shot and dam I am GLAD!
The eating area decor is old and not meant to impress, but many reviews said it was dirty I did NOT find that it is a truck stop.
I read there are rude waitresses, well there isn't any waitresses at all so that issue was void.
You order your food and wait for your number to be called is how the purchase process works.
What you get is a GREAT tasting steak for a crazy value, 12oz your choice of 3 cuts NY, Tbone, or rib eye AND fries for $11.99, OR feeling more hungry 16oz same cut choices for $12.99 but no sides.
I went there the first time one week ago and have been there 4 times my orders have been the 12oz special with fries and 16oz without fries all times were great.
SO you love steak but can't afford the crazy prices and don't care about decor this place can't disappoint, great steak and portions for budget pricing.
