I've eaten both a catered meal by Nak for Catering and stopped in for lunch at their Bistro. The Bistro is like a best-kept secret tucked away in the west end of the city. Their food is fresh and innovative, and the specials are always changing. The catered meal was also delicious. There was no shortage of food to go around, a great variety of appetizers and entrees, and the food was hot and fresh. I had no complaints with my experience with this company! I've recently expanded my culinary cuisine from boring vegetarianism (what was I thinking?) to include pizza, seafood, and now alligator! The Red Piano is a total experience from the ambiance to the knowledgeable staff to the duelling pianos... I felt like I could actually be in New Orleans! I even expected someone to hand me beads but of course that didn't happen :D It's such a classy place and a wonderful date night for my and my boyfriend. I ordered the Alligator Popcorn to start which was tender, crunchy and super flavourful!! Lots of spices, lots of yummy taste! My entree was the Crab Mac & Cheese which paired quite nicely with the wine I was having. I almost passed on dessert but what fun would that have been?! So I shared the Junkfood Platter with my boyfriend and we ended up taking most of it home to the kids because there was SO much dessert! What a truly perfect evening for us! We will totally be back! This place is unique as far as burger joints go. It's quite hip and happening.. the place is dark and has quite modern-style lighting which makes it more of a bar/lounge than a burger place. We went on a Friday or Thursday night .. there was a DJ with a mixer playing tunes, in a place that serves "fast food", how cool is that?! The food is great, with an above average quality burger. They serve Kobe beef, selection of regular or sweet potato fries that come in a mini shopping cart, and they give you cotton candy after your meal. Everything about this place is cool. A+ for originality. If you're just looking for a quick and typical burger with no atmosphere, you'll find Delux overpriced.
