BEST PHO IN ALL OF TORONTO! Their beef noodle broth is just stupendous! It doesn't contain as much fat and oil as you would expect from other restaurants which is really good! This is probably the only pho restaurant i would recommend to anybody. Though the atmosphere is not like a 5 star restuarant, the food sure makes up for it. The man who owns it is very friendly as well. It's really GREAT!
This Vietnamese restaurant is popular among pho lovers in Toronto’s west end. It’s a small, no-frills eatery with little to offer in terms of aesthetics but that’s because they focus on what they know best — making great food. Their delicious pho menu is, of course, mostly chicken or beef-based, but they do have a token vegetarian pho. The Phở rau cải tàu hủ contains the usual tofu, vegetables and noodles in a veggie broth. It’s available in four sizes, priced from $7.25 to $9.50.
The decor here is diner-like and basic — but don’t let that fool you. The food is exquisite, well-presented and appetizing. Maybe that’s why this tiny restaurant is always bustling with a hungry crowd of pho-seekers. Prepared by talented North Vietnamese chefs, the pho has three protein options: traditional beef, chicken and a modern vegetarian tofu version. Of course, the beef pho has the most flavour choices — 15 in total — all with authentic Vietnamese names. Pho Tien Thanh is licensed and offers takeout.
