food we quality and price are excellent
Customer service is poor, I used to eat there often, but last time I ordered takeout I received two completely burnt breakfasts and when I called to complain and I was promised two free breakfasts as compensation, called two days later to get it, and they decided that in their words " it's too expensive to compensate with two free breakfasts" although that's what I was promised by the manager. Who then threatened to sue me if i posted about this!
Highly recommended. The information on this site is quite outdated. Food and service are excellent. Nice and clean atmosphere with local art and fresh flowers. Everything is made so well and tastes delicious. My favourites are the French Toast, Corn Beef Hash and the all the Eggs Benedict. I would eat here every day if I could. Great experience.
and the fact that is not always clean due to the rush and short staffed at thease time or that you may be charged for another person meal once you get to cashier, the food is cooked in front of you and to your liking and the staff is friendly and hard working regardless of the owners opinion is....now the address is confusing because the place is parliment not queen but very easy to get to on public transit and spot out once your on the intersection....

A downtown favourite, Fig’s Breakfast and Lunch is open seven days a week! The small restaurant, located on the corner of Queen and Parliament not only offers up quality, but quantity. The all-day breakfast spot serves omelettes, French toast, waffles and huge breakfast platters with bacon, eggs and potatoes. A favourite with the locals, it’s open until 4 p.m. everyday, so you can stay for lunch too.

The salmon and avocado breakfast is a refreshing alternative to the classic bacon and eggs. For something a little different, try the potato latkes served with eggs, bacon, sour cream and apple.
