Don's Pizzeria was established in November of '66. Don Ouellet was a bush worker who gave up his chainsaw to become a cook.
Don lived his life for the business, spending many long hours every day making his famous Thin & Crispy crust pizza. Over the years, the business expanded & now offers a full service restaurant menu. Don's original thin & crispy crust is still a favourite among so many! Don passed away on May 28, 2003 but his dream still lives on.

I lived in Timmins in the 70'ies and it was always a treat to have a Don' Pizza. My daughter lives in Timmins now and we made a quick trip to her new house earlier this week and we needed a quick bite. The question was posed where and what do we want to order? I said Don's was always great so we stopped in and ordered two pizzas for delivery to the house. The price was exhorbant some $55.00 and on top of that they were horrible. The worst pizza we have ever endured. The crust was thin, hard and dry and the pizza was tasteless except for what appearred to be cajun spice all over one of them. It was a complete waste of $60.00 and the tradition has been broken. I will never buy Pizza from Don's Pizzaria in Timmins again.

This was byyyyyyyyyyyy far the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. It was dry and tasteless and way, I mean way over priced. This will be the last time I ever order from them and suggest that you do the same.
Also the service was terrible they didnt do anything to accomodate us when we called and complained about the dollar store type pizza we received.
I agree w/ marc .. I went to Matagami PS .. R.Ross Beattie, and THVS .. Don was always there for our class .. great food and great value .. i remember him from being a little kid picking up pizzas for our grade 4-5 class.. he is/ was a great guy .. didn't know he had passed on .. Timmins lost one of the Great Ones that day .. J.
hey listen up i work for dons pizzaria for 10 years
and now i live in brithis columbia . i have eaten pizza all over canada and also al over the usa and let me tell you ,that it brake my heart to here you guys knock down dons pizza , if dons was still alive rest his soul . he would tell all of you to jump off the matagamie bridge . i am not sure if it is bebe that i running his store now but it cant be half as bad as what all of you are saying i would drive down form bc to timmins just to eat a slice if could have the time off of work and if i could afford to do somthing so crazy like that .. in the past 15 year i have yet to eat a slice of pizza that is even close to being as good as a dons pizza.. my comment to you is if you dont like the service or the food then dont go back you bounch of morons
