Gourmet Italian Cuisine In A Relaxed Family Atmosphere,
Based on the reviews of others, my wife and I took our 4 month old to the this charming restaurant. We were not dissapointed. The food was amazing and the genuine warmth exuded by the staff added to the charm. Mama Alfa adores babies and our little guy got a warm welcome and a generous flow of attention. We will not hesitate to visit again, hats off!!

The fresh food at Mama Alpha's was superb. I have never eaten a ceasar salad as good. The service and atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I recommend Mama A;pha's to anyone who wants to experience true Italian cooking. Maybe a few other restaurants in this area should take lessons from Ralph and Alpha.
On August 19th. 2005 our party of 8 had a fabulous evening at Mama Alfa's dining on the most 'exquisite' of Italian food and dancing to accordian music played by Johnny Scafaio. Mama's six course meal was 'to die for'...we ate till we were ready to burst(it was that good!) and were pampered by Mama and her staff...the service is unbelievable! We are looking forward to Mama's next big Murder mystery(TRIAL BY JUDGE AND JURY)at the end of September. 'BRAVO' Mama!!!
Mama Alfa's is our destination restaurant whenever we visit Thunder Bay. We wish it was closer and that Ralph could deliver to our home in Georgia! Alfa has even packaged up her special pizza for me to carry back home on the airplane - funny thing is that even in Toronto the airline people recognize the pizza box and make offers to buy my pizza. Thank you Alfa and Ralph - for always making us feel so welcome.
We love Mama Alfa's, she makes the best panzarotti's and pasta in town!!! We try to go once a week. The atmosphere is great and you feel like part of the family when dining there. Highly recomended!!!
