Miller Waste Systems Inc. is a waste management company focused on providing market leadership services to its customers. With the corporate head office located in Markham, Ontario it currently has branch operations throughout Ontario as well as in Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Miller's roots in waste management date back to the early 1960's when the company began providing waste management services to the Town of Markham. Miller Waste has grown from a two-truck operation in those days to a diverse waste management company today, providing a wide range of waste management services in Ontario and the Maritimes. Miller Waste currently operates over 550 collection vehicles, employs over 1000 people and specializes in waste and recycling collection, dumpster bin rentals, compost & landscaping materials, processing and marketing of materials as well as the design, construction and operation of waste diversion facilities.

    This company does...

    This company doesnt deserve a star at all.Employees are mean, including the manager.I ordered a wrong size bin and requested to return it for a bigger one since the cost is the same as we have lots of garbage during our backyard landscape. Karry the employee upholdshetself that she didnt have the error of sending the bin i requested so if I wAnt a bigger one, i have to pay for the lift charge twice plus the weight of the garbage.I requested if she can void the lift on the smaller bin for customer service sake, since its the first time i dealt with them.Karry is so fake and she discussed the issue to the manager.i requested to talk to the manager and tbis lady is arrogant and sarcastic, she would have pick up the small bin empty at no cost, thereby lossing the sale. Than to replace the existing small bin with a bigger one to provide customer satisfaction, get the sale and earn profit. I am questioning the goaltbis manager is having for their business, is it to defend the arrogance of their employee or to provide customer satisfaction and earn profit..managers like this dont deserve their position and higher mgt should know about this, as this will bring the business down.

    Long wait time, uninterested employees

    First and last time at this place. It was quick to get in but it took me 40 minutes to get out, at least 2 minutes for each vehicle in front of me. Other Durham transfer stations are a lot faster . The staff at the drop off point, who never bothered to get off their chairs, just told me to throw my stuff in any bin. I told them I had large batteries that had to be recycled and then they directed me.
