Teddy's has a wonderful slecetion of food that is prepared quickly with generous portions. It is a restaurant that my wife and I like to visit whenever we are up in Oshawa. Teddy's is a restaurant you can't go wrong with...if you do, you just don't like food.

We've been going to Teddy's for over a decade and have had mostly great experiences. The food is always top-notch and is always brought to your table ASAP.
Alot of the complaints I see here revolve around impatient waitstaff, and I have noticed this in the past as well. I believe that a good bit of this revolves around the fact that they are under great pressure to flip th tables from customer to customer as quickly as possible in order to put as many people as possible through the restaurant on a nightly basis.
Teddy's is a small restaurant comparatively, so fast turnover is necessary. Unfortunately this sometimes results in a rushed atmosphere, and waitresses who make you feel pressured to hurry up.
The upside of this is that the service is always spectacularly quick - I don't know how they do it, but I've never been to a sitdown restaurant that can produce excellent tasting meals as quick as Teddy's can. Kudos to the kitchen.
I had one bad experience several years ago that revolved around an absolutely rude and inattentive waitress. I wrote a letter to the management, but received no reply whatsoever, not even a phone call. I was dissapointed - a customer who takes the time to sit down and write a physical letter to a company at least deserves the decency of some sort of reply, even if only a phone call.
Overall, we visit Teddy's at least a few times per month, and will continue to do so as thousands of others do. Excellent food served quickly at unbeatable prices is simply a combination that works for us!
I Love Teddy's Restaurant. The food is excellent. The staff is so polite and nice. I was living in the area when the restaurant opened in the 1980s and I wondered if he would make it with a deli but he had a marvellous idea, and the smells that come from there are so good. I love going to Teddy's for breakfast lunch or supper. Don't go often but love it when I do.
We have a truck driver friend that we took there for a meal and the meal was so big he couldn't finish it and he can really eat.
Their home made salad dressing is a must for me to buy when I go out west to see the kids they love it .
I remember watching teddy's girls doing dishes and helping out when they were just little.Now they are all grown up and wonderful hostesses.

We were a little worried after reading the negative reviews. But after the usual 10 minute line up we were served by a pleasant waitress. who joked with us and smiled a lot but was efficient. The table next to ours was served by a different waitress who was equally as smiling and pleasant. There were a lot of staff busy around but no one looked grumpy. We have been before. we will go again. The food is wonderful.
