My wife and her son were visiting the area and asked me if I new of a good place to eat. I had been there before years before and was impressed enough to remember the name of the place and for me remembering anything is a big thing. They had some wine, bread and olive oil with Balsamic V. MY son had a nice pasta dish and wife had phyllo spinach. I am happy to report my recommendation was a solid one. They loved the food and mentioned the beautiful dinning experience. I plan to go there this weekend with my wife. I will let you know. Being a bit of cook myself, I expect quality and tasty food. I am looking forward to being impressed! Cheers Mark Davenport

We where there on Boxing Day and it was quite busy. Asked for my steak medium came well done. The gravey it was in tasted like it was out of a jar, the waiter took offence when I asked for hot sauce. Also anytime a waiter brought you something and you said "thanks" they would reply "your very welcome" felt a bit condesending after a while (2 diffrent waiters said this at least 2 times each) Overall a big ripoff. Should of stayed home and ate leftover turkey

The food was fine. The Chocolate Torte was especially nice. The staff were very attentive and friendly. However, I cannot give this restaurant a good review due to the atmosphere. Our table was next to the kitchen. I do not mean near the kitchen. One side of our table directly bordered on the clear glass separating the kitchen counter from our table. We could clearly see the food preparation. We were distracted by the movement of litchen staff directly next to us. Frequently, the clatter of utensils was heard and the vibrations felt through our table. The glare through the glass was uncomfortable. We made reservations in advance. This is clearly a table that is in regular use. It is simply inappropriate. One couple, leaving at the same time as our party, remarked on it. This table should be removed. Alternatively, please place a screen or divider here. You do your restaurant and your excellent staff a disservice having this table in use.

My wife went once before and was not impressed with the food, but I talked her into giving it another try thinking it looked like an ok place. Place looks nice inside, but in the end I felt it was mostly style over substance. Pizza we had was really salty from the prosciutto on it...my wife wouldn't touch it after one bite, but luckily I like a lot of salt. One starter was veal stuffed mushrooms....good, but $12 for only TWO of them? Had the Tapas platter....one crab cake, HALF a sausage, one slice of cheese, some olives, some hummus w/bread, three small shrimp, and some roasted red pepper. $21 for this? Wow. Food looks great...but is really expensive for what you get and doesn't taste as good as it looks. While we were there, three other people complained about their food (improperly cooked, too spicy, etc.), so it wasn't just us. We were near the kitchen, and I don't know if this is common practice for pasta in restaurants, but I didn't feel great watching the cook grab a big handfull of (pre-cooked) spaghetti with his hand (no tongs, no glove) and put it in a bowl for a spaghetti and bolognaise dish. We'll go somewhere else next time.
