Simple, tasty Chinese fare for folks on the hunt for a hit of Asian or craving off-hour dim sum. Where else for crack-of-dawn fried squid tentacles? Special mention to the flaky egg tarts.
Located in an industrial building. We walked in and were told to wait a few minutes for a table. As we stood there we looked around and the fact that the place was beyond filthy became painfully apparent. The carpets were old, dirty and stained and even the walls had dirt and food on them. There was rotting food on the floor, dust on everything and newspapers strewn on the floor. The place hasn't been cleaned or even vacuumed in a long time. The dirty fish tanks had only dead and dying fish in them. One dead fish was actually past the point of decaying. We looked at each other in horror and walked out without eating. I'm surprised this dump hasn't been shut down yet and even more surprised that people would actually eat there.
this place is garbage.
i never came to this restaurant for 6 years, due to the bad service and that the food was dirty. i decided not to come again due to the fact that the sticky rice i ordered was old and smelly from the previous day. and when the waitress took the dish away he had not reaction like it always happened.
when i came back the other day. they are still the same. they have never took the effort to change. the washrooms, wall, chairs are not maintained. probably due to the fact it is 24 hours.
people continue to dine at this place, due to it being cheap. but i strongly encourage you to try different places such as Royal Dragon or Emerald.
Oh dear. When I find a hair or roach in my food, I don't usually broadcast it. But this place treated it like a daily event.
First was a black hair in the shrimp. I ignored it and tucked into the various plates we ordered. Average tasting but with good company, it was nothing wroth complaining about.
Then, much to my misfortune I find a medium roach in the baby bok choy, after having consumed half the dish. When I showed it to the waiter to discreetly remove the plate, she squirmed and refused to touch the plate. She calls another waiter who asks if she is meant to remove the dish from the table and if she should strike it from the bill. Um, yes!!!! No apology, nothing.
With our appetites lost, we left the rest of our ordered plates. We paid and left. No-one said anything to us.
Guys, a roach in the food is just not cool, ok?! Hair AND roach and you get me complaining publically!!!
