We just moved from Calgary to Montreal with Kingsway Van Lines in March of 2023. Great service and it was very easy to deal with Kingsway. Started out by filling out an inventory form and received a price. We did have stairs at the pick up address, so the rep was very upfront with all the charges. They offered us a mattress cover at no charge. We had the pick up scheduled for Jan 21. Received a call around 2nd week of February to say that the shipment was at their warehouse.
I cant thank Liz enough for her work and for taking the time to take care of everything during our move (we just relocated to BC from Nova Scotia). I was moving there to be with my husband as he was finally able to find work. I was left to pack up the house, the kids and take care of the movers all by myself. When we decided to move to Burnaby we initially got prices from uhaul and wanted to do it ourselves. Our friend then referred us to an online service and we got a bunch of competitive quotes. The prices were almost the same as the uhaul quote but including the labour and transport so that was a no brainer.
We finally decided to move with Kingsway Van Lines based on the great customer service we got over the phone. Liz and David were a pleasure to deal with.

I had a great experience with this company. The crew arrived on time as scheduled on August 29, 2015. Mark and his crew were great, Sam was also very efficient. They worked hard and were in and out within hours.
When my stuff arrived to Toronto, ON (which was about 8-9 days later) I found out that my house fell through. The sellers had financial problems and we had to move on. We couldn't wait longer. Kingsway had offered storage although delivery was previously scheduled. No issues.
Great service from Kingsway Van Lines. I would like to write a few words about my recent move from Halifax, NS to Ontario, ON. We transported our entire life across the country and they assisted us from start to finish. There were a few things that we didnt finish on time and the crew was able to help us with packing those (at an extra $$$) but it was worth it. I have finally found a moving company that I can rely on.
I am extremely happy with these guys they have helped me move twice and both times have run smoothly and the guys have been really clear on communication and times, Packing up was quick and unobtrusive and everything was supremely well packed up - even each bottle of wine was individually wrapped. The price was not the cheapest (wouldn't trust the cheaper companies) and not the most expensive, just reassuringly in the middle.
From start to finish these guys stayed busy wrapping my furniture and moving my belonging to the truck.
I was very impressed on the way everything was ran.
They showed in a nice truck and were in company uniforms ready to go to work.

I have moved over 14 times in the last 15 years and I've never had such a horrible experiences this. Kingsway will subcontract all or portions of the move, to companies that you may not wish to move your stuff. There was so much damage to my stuff it actually will cost me more than the move to replace it. Save yourself the trouble and book with anybody else.

Bill was twice the correct weight and twice the estimated price. The driver told me he had no record of the weigh in. Several pieces of our furniture were badly damaged. I am extremely disappointed in both the moving service provided by Kingsway as well as the customer service, as no effort has been made to resolve my issues and instead I have been met with hostility and condescension. If you care about your belongings, time, and your wallet please heed the warning and look elsewhere.
