Terrible!! Absolutely terrible I order 2 orders of black pepper steak paid for extra spice got none of that and got even for digusting service when my husband called them back. The First woman told him they don’t understand because they don’t speak English then some other girl came in the phone rude and bitter and refused to help. Digusting. Never again. Lost a good customer ?
We have been customers for years. Tonight was the end. The quality has been hit and miss for the past while, but tonights dinner was a disaster. The tai dop voy was mostly celery, very bitter, not as fresh as one would hope. The Blossom shrimp, described as jumbo shrimp, split open were small, unsplit and soggy. The lemon chicken was dry and over cooked. Terrible experience.
Order took less time to be delivered than estimated, was piping hot, fresh, and delicious! Big portions, great prices, and definitely vegetarian friendly. This will be my go to restaurant for Canadian style Chinese food from now on. So pleased=)
Great food great place, would recommend it
We have ordered take out from here many, many times and it's always been a positive experience. However, a couple New Years Eve's ago, we had a horrible experience. We were told about 40 minutes for the food - but when we arrived, we were met by a croud of about 30 people who were lined up waiting for food. Nothing was coming out of the kitchen. People told us they had been waiting for hours. One woman was in tears - she arranged for her order a week ago because she had such a large party and she'd been there hours and nothing was coming out of the kitchen. The owner wasn't talking to anyone - just yelling (boy she can yell) in the kitchen in chinese. Here's the best part - the owner was still taking orders over the phone and telling people 40 minutes!!!! At one point, someone took the phone off her and told the person on the other end to go somewhere else. This turned into a Lord of the Flies scenario - The crowd grew to about 50 people. They started blocking walk-ins from entering the restaurant. People started taking bags and loading up from the buffet and walking out. When an order came from the kitchen, if the person wasn't there, people were taking it and walking out. The owner was very unappologetic about things. I'm sure they lost a lot of regular customers that night. It took several hours to receive our food.
