Birchwood Collision Centre -poor workmanship
Birchwood Collision Center equals poor workmanship, messy, sloppy, unprofessional, slow avoid at all cost. I had the misfortune to take my newer model vehicle to Birchwood Collision Center after a minor accident . What was supposed to be - according to Birchwood - a 5 day job, turned into a prolonged 4 week ordeal. Their inability to match new paint with the original paint left me speechless. While struggling to repair vehicle's body damage sustained during the accident Birchwood's staff kept on damaging other parts of the vehicle. Their fruitless attempt to fix the damage correctly led them to chip the paint on other parts of the vehicle unrelated to the accident damage. A list of mishaps includes; spray painting black plastic grill, black plastic moldings ( original paint is light ), spray painting parts of rather pricey aluminum wheel rims and windshield, moldings are incorrectly installed ( took me one full day to clean all that mess ) To add insult to injury I suspect that while my vehicle was in their possession they had a bigger mishap with it since the other side of the vehicle is spray painted with the mismatched paint. Needless to say I will not ask Birchwood for any more repairs and fixes since I am extremely afraid to leave my vehicle in their possession unattended. Two gentlemen working in the customer office are super nice, too bad they have the misfortune to work for such a Mickey Mouse outlet. Nightmare on 1 Owen St Avoid at all cost.
