It is very nice to see the level of service Immediately when you walk through the doors at Benchmark Auto. They greeted me with a warm friendly greeting, and as I spoke with the counter staff further it is very clear that this company prides themselves on the “Customer”. They were very detailed and helped me understand the process of getting my vehicle repaired, they did it in a timely and professional manner. Overall I was very impressed, it is rare to see service at this level in the auto industry … Keep up the good work !!!
As with most Northern B.C. shops the owner of this business knows his stuff, but the counter staff leave much to be desired. A simple trace and repair job on AC got blowen out of proportions by charging red seal rate for apprentice work. Then they didn't even track down a correct part they Micky moused a repair "just to get it done". Had to speak to the boss to get it fixed right at no further expense. Customer service and pride in workmanship need to be addressed. Once they get it right it's O.K. but they some how think one has deep pockets for repairs that should be reasonable. Get a quote in writting and don't agree to anything over the phone. Better yet talk to the boss.
