Went at the end October 2017 They are under new ownership The food was absolutely marvelous. We had surf and turf special, and was it ever. Cocktails, also delicious, and cheesecake for dessert. Presentation of food, taste and blend of flavours, cooked to perfection and served piping hot,great service, friendly staff. A most memorable dinner. We will be back :)
We had a $100 gift certificate as wedding present. We had an awesome experience!! I was delighted that the chef made a vegan noodle dish for myself while my husband had the lobster . We were both pleasantly surprised with our meals...very tasty !!
We had a special birthday reservation at least a month a head of time. When we arrived we had to wait at the door to be seated for almost 10 minutes. When seated we were put at a napkin - sized table in the corner right beside the bathrooms. You could even manipulate your elbows to eat anything that you may have ordered. We were ignored for 20 minutes, not even given water or offered a cocktail. We decided that they did not deserve of patronage and left never to return. They managed to completely ruin a nice bithday celebration.
LOBSTER WAS RUBBERY; FILET CAME SMOTHERED IN SOME TYPE OF SAUCE; VEGETABLES CONSISTED OF 6 CHUNKS OF UNDERCOOKED CARROTS & 1 LARGE PIECE OF UNDERCOOKED BROCCOLI STEM; SPAETZLE WAS BURNT. THE ICED WATER WAS HOWEVER DELICIOUS. HAVE LEARNED THAT THE RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED HANDS SINCE OUR LAST VISIT. WOULD NOT RETURN.
Decor is a little elderly but its a quietplace. The menu is rather short and doesnt change much. The selection has a Bavarian influence and so, very hearty type dishes. Good quality,a little pricey but ok for an occassional night out or celebration dinner. Dress is business casual and up
Have been to this restaurant many a time. Quality and taste are always consistant. Wonderful dining experience
