HUGE waste of time and money.I saw Isabel and when she wasn't slandering people (not good when i live in the area and know some of these people)she was on her phone doing the same thing, So the service was terrible. Facilities very nice- good. No wait,(now I know why) my hair was acceptable-ish. I wouldn't recommend going here. If you do don't get personal everyone will know your business. Sorry be warned though.
The salon was nice,clean and friendly. Sadly I was disappointed with my hair. Once i saw some other posts it prompted me to give fair feedback f. I was rushed and I didn't end up with what i wanted even when i explained clearly. I had Isabel the older stylist.I paid cash for a discount, which was nice.My first and last time here.Zen was recommended by my friend,but she does not see Isabel. It is a convenient location so maybe book with another stylist and give Zen a shot.
I wont go to isabele again, or to zen. i had heard really good things about this place a while ago but i should have looked at reviews before and not after my disappointment. if you have a mature (older)stylist expect to have an old fashioned style.she looked at herself in the mirror more than me, rushed through and babbled endlessly about her life and charged far too much. i did not tip. hope you read this before going, i wish i had.
After all the years i have come to you Isabel and my hair is now ruined. Zen has been a great salon with wonderful people, including you Isabel, this is not personal. As a customer I am upset enough to call the association for BC hairdressing. You were completely uninterested in anything except your phone. Zen your lucky that im not posting pictures of my hair. I do expect an apology you know where to reach me.
Sorry Eddy,I have been a good customer and have frequented your establishment for some time. I no longer trust Isabel with my hair or my time. I was also experiencing cancellations and deterioration in quality. I hope things turn around, more reliable staff might bring it back Zen to where it used to be. I hope so :)
