The Adventurers Guild is a gaming store dedicated to community and relationships. We strive to create a mature, yet relaxed, environment where people can enjoy their hobby of choice amongst fellow enthusiasts.
Bryce Dafoe has been playing board games as a hobby his entire life. “I’ve always enjoyed tabletop gaming,” he says. “Growing up and throughout high school, I would play games like Risk with my family.” After obtaining a degree in power engineering, Bryce moved to Edmonton in pursuit of employment and, along the way, discovered The Adventurer’s Guild. “I started coming to The Adventurer’s Guild often to game with others and I got to know the owner pretty well,” he recalls.
The Adventurer’s Guild originally opened in 2006. In 2014, when the previous owner decided he wanted to spend more time with his family, he approached Bryce to see if he’d be interested in purchasing the store. Bryce accepted his offer and thereafter became the official owner of the successful gaming store.
