After a stroke in Dec. of 2014 a dear friend, Kaaren LeBeck, made me a gorgeous necklace and earring set with stones to help me heal and regain strength, and to maintain strength to deal with ongoing challenges. My neurologist was one of MANY people who admired her artistry and suggested I should try beading to help with regaining my fine motor skills. I never dreamed I had any ability, never have been a "crafty" person, all my artistic ability was channeled into poetry, but after several weeks of people convincing me I had talent and should try selling my pieces, well...
