When Michelle Morigeau was offered the chance to take over Peacock Boutique, she didn't have to think twice. Her mom was the previous owner of this high-end used clothing store, and Michelle had loved helping out as a teenager. "I was lucky to inherit it," says Michelle. "It was the first store of its kind in Calgary and one my mom ran from the mid-seventies. I learned the ropes in my free time."

Located in Calgary’s trendy Kensington,area, this boutique stocks top-condition designer clothing, accessories and jewellery at half the price they'd be brand new. "I love giving the city a store where you can get the best brands at good prices. I honestly don’t know why anybody would buy new," says Michelle with a laugh.
