Downsview Park Ribfest
The Downsview Park Ribfest is back for a second year this Labour Day weekend. Showcasing some of the best ribs in North America, the weekend-long festival also includes family friendly activities and live entertainment. Participating vendors include Camp 31, Bibbs BBQ, Billy Bones BBQ, Uncle Sam’s and Hawgs Gone Wild.

Hot & Spicy Food Festival
The Hot & Spicy Food Festival is celebrating its 20 year anniversary in 2017. The annual festival will see the likes of Roger Mooking, Top Chef Canada winner Nicole Gomes and Olivier Le Calvez, all sharing their recipes and the secrets behind their signature dishes. There will also be live music and lots of activities for the kids.

Le Burger Week
Le Burger Week is back for another year and for seven days participating restaurants showcase their take on the American classic. From Richmond Station to SCHOOL, everyone is bringing their “A game.”

Lechon Festival
A Filipino Festival to close out the summer, the Lechon Festival is promising authentic eats and loads of fun. The star of the show is lechon (pork), which will be showcased in various ways including a whole roasted pig! There will be samplings, cooking competitions and folk dances and live music.

Brewer’s Backyard Back to School Labour Day Celebration
Brewer’s Backyard is celebrating Labour Day the only way they know how: by throwing a huge party! Local brews and delicious food are on the menu at Evergreen Brick Works. Participating breweries include Black Oak, Exchange Brewery, Nicklebrooke and more. Food trucks on site include FeasTO, Fidel Gastro and Fully Loaded TO.

Annual Corn Roast & Heritage Fair
To celebrate local corn from Nith Valley Organics, Montgomery’s Inn is hosting a roast and heritage fair. There will be an outdoor oven, live music, fun activities for the kids and a pop-up museum! In addition to the roasted corn there will be pizza, watermelon, ice cream and treats from More Than Pies.

Pizza in the Park with Pizzeria Libretto
Pizzeria Libretto is hosting a charity event, which includes slices of fresh Neapolitan pizza and Indian veggies and rice from Banjara Indian Cuisine. Craft brewery Beau’s and Angie’s Juicery will be providing the beverages. Proceeds go towards local eco-friendly projects through David Suzuki Foundation’s The Butterflyway Project.

Veg Food Fest
In its 33rd year, Veg Food Fest showcases the best in vegetarian cuisine in Toronto. There are more than 140 vendors participating at the weekend-long festival which showcases locally made food. There will also be guest speakers and fun activities for the kids!

Global Food Fest
Travel around the world in one day at this year’s Global Food Fest. The festival includes cuisines from across the globe made by participating chefs from Gourmet Gringos, Sushi Burri Toronto, Tex-Mex, Cultural Ice-cream. There will also be live music.

Taste of the Kingsway 2017
Taste of the Kingsway is back this year and bigger than ever. The street food festival features the international cuisines of the neighbourhood, as well as live entertainment and interactive exhibits.

Toronto Beer Week
Toronto Beer Week is an event that more than 60 venues across Toronto take part in. Events include tastings, brewing demonstrations, beer dinners and more. There are tonnes of participating restaurants this year including Batch, Grace O’Malley’s, Hair of the Dog, Mill Street, Monarch Tavern, The Wren and more. Breweries will also get in on the festivities, showcasing their best brews.

Food Truck Fest Ontario
Food Truck Fest Ontario is the ultimate foodie adventure. Over two days some of the provinces best food trucks come together at Sherbourne Common. Participating food trucks include Bake Three Fifty, Eva’s Original, Me.N.U, Buster’s Sea Cove and more.

Toronto Garlic Festival
The Toronto Garlic Festival celebrates the pungent bulb with farmers, chefs and guest speakers. The festival commemorates the Ontario garlic harvest as well, with cooking demonstrations, tastings and even a virtual reality tour of a garlic farm. Participating restaurants include Death in Venice, Magic Oven, MoRoCo Chocolat, Malty & Hoppy, and more.

Bubbles & Brunch
Bubbles & Brunch is a charity brunch in support of Look Good Feel Better, a charity committed to help cancer patients get back their sense of self. Taking place on the rooftop patio, this chic brunch will feature gourmet items and complimentary beer, wine and champagne. There will also be a swag bag filled with goodies from the charity’s beauty sponsors.

City Cider
It’s harvest time and City Cider showcases everything Ontario has to offer. Presented by the City of Toronto Historic Sites, City Cider features live music, delicious food, and freshly pressed cider! Tickets include admission to the Spadina Museum.

Famous Canadian Beer Run
Probably the booziest run in the city, the Famous Canadian Beer Run is back again this year. The race is 5 km in length, and you can complete the race at your own pace, but you may want to get to the finish line quickly because it ends at the Craft Beer & Food Festival. The festival features some of the best food trucks and breweries in Toronto. No word on participants yet!

Soupalicious
Soupalicious is an event that includes soup-tastings and harvests. The event showcases the local community’s chefs and food purveyors, as they create signature soups. Soupalicious is in support of Plant a Row – Grow a Row.

Toronto Oktoberfest
Toronto’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration is taking place the last weekend of September! A celebration of Bavarian culture, the fest includes food, beer, music and a fair. Try the exclusive Erdinger’s Oktoberfest brew alongside a smorgasbord of German specialties.

Oktoberfest Party
Mill St. Brewery is celebrating Oktoberfest with an 18-beer flight! The intimate party includes live local music, a guest polka band and German dancers. The night includes a special Bavarian menu which includes three beer tokens and a souvenir beer mug.
