My wife and I used to dine here more often in the past but I went back recently and was reminded me why we like it so much. The owners, John and Molly are very friendly and make some of the best doubles and vegetarian rotti's that we've ever had. We mainly go there for the vegetarian cusine. You won't be disappointed in your meal if you pick it up there. They can take awhile to make sometimes but you get what you wait for. Quality isn't fast. Read more

I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. I eat here when I stay at The Avenue Motel on Dundas. Always freshly made and very hot, the owner is a lovely Russian? lady and very nice. She's always there on her own!
