We have visited Boston Pizza numerous times and always enjoy it. Our last visit was exceptional though! The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive, polite, and interacted great with our children. Our food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. My family and I have been coming to Grog's for years now. It's a great place to come to enjoy friends, food, and have a laugh. The service at Grog's is unbelievable great! Everyone is so nice and brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. It is always a good idea to make reservations before going to Grog's because it is always busy, in a good way. The location is just outside of the Grand Bend Strip, about a 10 minute drive with a lot of parking. It's a great place to go after a long day at the beach. Now, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. It is always fresh and delicious. My favourite dish there is the panzarotti with their famous zany bread, which I highly recommend. All the dishes they have on the menu are prepared in a timely manager and it never disappoints. Grog’s is a great place to bring your family and friends and enjoy all the wonderful people and food. My husband and I are foodies and we love it here!!! We have been maybe a half dozen times and we have to drive a little ways to get here but we are never disappointed. The service as I have been told before through word of mouth, can always use a bit of tweaking but we keep coming back here so it cannot be that bad. We arrived and normally there is no one waiting at the hostess stand. Be prepared to wait a moment or 2. We were greeted promptly tonight however, and got a nice roomy table close to the window. There was a large party going on this evening so the staff were kept hopping. We ordered drinks and the soup of the day - we enjoyed every last bite (potato/bacon). My husband loved his German draught beer and I adored a new wine for me, a Hob Nob. I highly recommend this. The server as mentioned was busy and did her best to cater to us and everyone else in the place. We did have to ask for bread though which came later, much later as well as a steak knife and pepper had to be requested. As for meals, I was craving the Chicken Alfredo and I was so satisfied! I had half to take home with me too! The chicken was so tender, it was fall apart tender. The sauce was well prepared, nicely seasoned, the pasta well cooked and the mushrooms to die for. The brocolli was yummy too. My husband treated himself and got the ribeye steak - he gave it a 10. Deelish. The meat was melt in your mouth and the potatoes! MMM... The sauce was the best thing of all though, the jus. Homemade. the only thing is that it would have been nice to have some green on the plate, some type of veg. We could not order dessert, we were so full. Bonus - we got to meet the head chef/owner and he could not have been nicer. We left happy and with cash still in our pockets, the place is reasonable and not a money grabber. We will be back. Typically we would not call fine dining sitting at a truck stop/hotel but once inside you would never know it! A must try! Read more

I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park. Read more
