We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit. The service is great and fast. The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread. The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it. All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner. Perfect for an after dinner drink without all the noise of a club or lounge. $5 Martinis until 12 can't be beat and with nearly 100 varieties, I have yet to try them all but I try to get different ones each time. If you want to snack on something well you drink get there before 1. Great place to go as a group, but get there around 9 before it starts to fill up. Ask if the back room is available. I remeber the beer selection was on the poor side. I do not remember them having any draft beer available. The service was very good and the flourless cake I had for desert was just incredible. I had heard terrific things about Domani, a restaurant run by a former pro footballer from Afghanistan who has worked at some of Toronto's top restaurants, and had to come down to High Park and see for myself. The service was very courteous, prompt, and personal. At no point did we even have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of. The food was exquisite, well-presented and skilfully prepared. The portions were large but despite being quite full it was too delicious to leave any behind. The desserts were absolutely amazing, though next time I would do without the espresso. Though Domani requires a bit of a journey, I have not eaten anywhere in Toronto where gourmet food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price and accompanied by such excellent service.
