Love this restaurant and absolutely love the Saigon Subs. The simplicity of this sub amazes me because it tastes so good. Had another one for lunch today half pork and half beef. They are inexpensive, fast and tasty as can be. Anybody that eats the fake meat at Subway for lunch is crazy - go see Saigon Char-Broil. Whenever I have more time I’ll eat in and have some soup. I liked the décor, the friendly staff & owners.I ordered the Salmon & Chips (fish & chips made with Salmon instead of Cod or Halibut, which they also had). The Salmon was Wild, & delicious. They have specials & Seniors day, which is nice. This was my second time here. The 1st time I took out of town guests from Okanagan who used to live on West Coast of Vancouver Island. I have tried dozens and dozens of Chinese Places in Victoria area (even in China Town), and abroad. This one, is by far the best I've tried in the last 20 yrs!! The food is authentic and full of flavour and yet very light (not greasy or heavy). It is DELICIOUS! But what I also like about this restaurant is it is very friendly and clean and tastefully decorated. I had friends that worked there said it is very clean, and the work ethic is known to be very high and they treat their employees very well. Prices are slightly higher than other Chinese places, but good value. Eat in, take out, or delivery available. I have known this restaurant since it first opened 15 years ago and has always been exceptional. This is a hidden gem! Highly recommended!!! Read more
