We were heading to Lindsay last night for the Haunted House and wanted to go out for dinner first. Looked online and found the Olympia. Decided to give it a try. We were very impressed! The food was excellent, portion sizing perfect and the service was great! We would definitely go back there if in the area again. Only drawback was we were seated by the front door and it was chilly whenever the door opened and closed. So it would have been nicer to seat in a booth but the place was very busy when we arrived. My husband found this place while working. We drive from Warkworth to JPs! (an hour) just for lunch! he makes everything himself from the fresh cut fries to the chicken and beef and pork. His spices and sauces are delicious and authentic. My husband LOVES the pulled pork poutine, while I enjoy the classic chicken pita with his homemade traditional tzatziki sauce. Can't beat it! I'm a university student who lives in the area, and my roommates and I discovered House of Greek last year. We were close enough to make use of the no tax when you pick up perk, which is great. Every once in a while we would order the sandwich party, sometimes with two people, sometimes with 6 (you save more money with more people). At the beginning of the school year last year the order was always perfect and the food was delicious. However, I'm a little disappointed because they stopped offering baklava in the sandwich party even though they still advertise it in the flyer. The last time I ordered there they completely messed up my order, giving me a chicken shawarma when I ordered a falafel pita. They fixed the order but made me come pick it up again. Point is though, the food here is absolutely delicious. It's a great take out restaurant! Read more

LOVE this restaurant! I live in Rockland and a friend told me about it one day and ever since I have been making the trek to Bank street because I'm always so impressed - the food is on point! I have tried all of the souvlaki platters and my favourite is the lamb - the meat is so tender and cooked to perfection. I don't usually eat seafood but their seafood souvlaki is amazing - the grilled shrimp is so tasty. Their salads are always fresh and they use a delicious dressing which I'm sure is home-made. The staff is always friendly and provide great service. If you compliment the chef or owner, they will come out and personally thank you and chat with you. Love that! The chicken salad has got to be the best I've ever tasted, FRESHLY (in front of my eyes) grilled chicken on top of a fresh salad topped with a delicious dressing!!
