Truth be told, it's really the only place in town that's open at an early hour, but they don't seem to take advantage of that. We were driving from Toronto to Ottawa with with two kids and making stops every few hours (Madoc is two hours outside of Ottawa). We hit the ice cream place next door on the way to Ottawa. On the way back we stopped for lunch. Great fried chicken and club house sandwich. Great price. Read more

We spend out summers at Bobcaygeon and visit Cody's with friends and family as often as possible. Wish there was chinese food 1/2 as good available in Burlington where we spend the winter. Their Lemon Chicken is to die for and we also all love the Shrimp and Peaches. The servings are so generous we always have lots to take home and enjoy the next day. Read more

The food here is your standard family diner fare in terms of quality, nothing special, but the selection is quite varied, Greek food, Italian, English/North American, basic burgers, I can't see anyone going here and not being able to find something they like. But above all is the location, right beside the falls. Sure, when eating on the deck it makes whispered conversation a wee bit difficult, but it's a good noise that's relaxing rather than annoying.
