I really love shawarma and wasting a single a penny in other shawarmas place, we travelled from Edmonton and pass by in this shawarma in Canmore and tried their chicken and beef shawarma!!! My name is Agnes Fatimeau and my family and I visit Banff seasonally espacially in the winter. Because we are from France and that we are used to very good food and wine pairing it has very difficult for us to accomodate ourselves in Canada but Giorgio's trattoria has been great for us everytime. They also have a fantastic wine list and they won a wine spectator award for it as well but the best of it all is the food and the service. If you ever go there try their Roselinne or their Duck breast it would be a sin not too!

I never thought Airdrie would have such as good Vietnamese restaurant! I always go to Calgary for Vietnamese food, but now I found it in Airdrie!
Thang Long Vietnamese Cuisine is the best Vietnamese restaurant that I have to say. The name was translated to me as "The Rising Dragon" its unique as it sounds so as the food.
I will definitely continue to come back to "The Rising Dragon" for the most delicious, crispy fresh and delightful food!
I recommended you should give it a try and you will know what I mean!! next time I will take picture of my ordered dishes

Our appitizer of the southewestern Egg rolls were excellent and different, great dipping sauce. The soup of the day is homemade and different each day and excellent. They have weekly specials which the stuffed trout was and a side dish of garlic mashed potaotes are really garlicky and great. The wild boar burger is made with fresh meat and cooked to order, the french fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, yummy. The Banana Changa is to die for and so is the Cookies and cream cake and could be enjoyed by 2. The restaurant is upstairs, only 18 yrs or older and the patios have views of the mountains. There are Live Bands some nights and dancing. Big Screen T.V.'s keep you up to date on sports if you're not enjoying the patio views of the mountains and pedistarians below. This is no way a Mexican restaurant but a cowboy/western restaurant with Buffalo burgers and Wild Boar burgers. The bar is excellent with drink specials with a twist. Can't go to Banff without going to Wild Bills!!!!!

The pizza here is beyond amazing, and I'm not stating this lightly. I can honestly say that it is the best I have ever had. The special in-house dip that they have available, made of oil and honey, may seem a bit strange at first, but I promise you, it is an unexpectedly perfect combination with the pizza, or the garlic cheese fingers. The gluten free options at this restaurant are also plentiful, and also very tasty. 10/10, would here again.
