My husband and I used Pickles & Olives Bistro for our wedding catering this past August. We had a small backyard tent wedding of about 70 people and I am beyond pleased we chose them to prepare our wedding meal. I'm not sure what restaurantica12 problem is with this restaurant. Me and my husband comes here about once a month and it's fantastic, except simetimes when he gets the full rack of ribs one of them isn't the greatest. And honestly it's the best meal for your buck. Will recommended it to anybody who isn't fussy on where they eat just what they eat. Good home cooked meals. Yummy yummy!

The Kawartha dairy ice cream & milkshakes are delicious and not over priced. When you line up make sure you look at the big board so that you can tell the cashier what flavour you'd like.
We ordered a pizza one night and brought it back to the boat, it was hot & delicious and you could tell that they make their own dough, we've only had bad food experiences in Fenelon Falls so it was nice to actually enjoy a meal. Looks like when we are docked in Fenelon we'll be eating pizza. The only thing that I thought was a bit tacky was when I ordered my vegetarian pizza because it was later in the evening the owner tried to get me to buy his old dried up pizza instead of the fresh one I ordered. Given the fact that I ordered vegetarian why would he suggest I take the meat pizza slices? Not a big deal, just thought it was a little cheeky.

Stopped in on Canada Day after the raining parade. 3 kids in tow. We had heard they had great pizza so decided to stop. My kids have only eated chain pizza once or twice in their lives and it's greasy cardboard so we don't even bother. This was a marvelous find! Hands down best pizza I've ever had... next to this place in Lewiston NY 10 years ago LOL Seriously, the Thin crust, and homemade sauce is something else! Do get extra pineapple ;-) it was all amazing and we told them so LOL

After reading the reviews online about this restaurant I was apprehensive about going to a staff Xmas get-together involving 16 people. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about. The servers had excellent manners and the food was good (for the price) and was served in a timely manner. I didn't hear any complaints from anyone at our table. We were lucky to have a restaurant accomodate such a large group. The owner made a point of acknowledging the person who had made our reservation. Nice people, good food. I would go back.

Good size slices with lots of variations for toppings - great soft crust and overall texture is delicious. A bit pricy for a slice compared to the big city big brands but you always get what you pay for. One complaint would be there are not enough slices ready on Sunday nights when coming home from the cottage so they could anticipate thiswalk in traffic much better.
