I have tried groomers in my area and I have found Cedar Hills Grooming to be the best. The girls are very friendly, and caring towards the animals and provide great customer service. You can tell when they come out to greet you that they love their job and the animals. I have taken my dog there many times, they always groom my dog to what is best for him and what is easier for him to cope with as sometimes he is a little matted. (my fault). We had excellent care for a major surgery. The doctor was very thorough and explained the details. As others noted, it can be expensive. However, this is an emergency facility, and does not have the subsidies that human health care does. If you need regular pet care, go to a standard vet, but anything beyond that costs money. Thats the reality of pet health care, and ownership. And why it is generally recommended to purchase pet insurance or save for these emergency situations. Read more

I was looking for a vet in Vancouver that had experience with Sphynx cats, and found 1st Ave. was quite knowledgeable regarding Sphynx; Sphynx have a few different needs from other cats. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers. I noticed the woofer walkers are in today's Richmond newspaper talking about the new gps technology they now using to walk dogs and this is the company I been using for about two and a half years now. it's time I wrote them a great review too. my wife and I work full time. we hired them because our dog Eddy was barking while we are at work. we hired them to take eddy out.
