All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! I have been here twice now. The first time I was served by the owner, Joe. I thought he was very helpful. As it was my first time in I asked him what he would recommend. He asked me a few questions figured out what I was looking for and suggested a few deserts. Today I went in and was served by a very friendly girl. Again I asked for a recommendation as this time I was looking for more then a snack. We had a friendly conversation and I decided to order the club sandwich. Joe the owner served my food to me and again engaged in friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family because on both occasions, though looking for something different each time, I was met with fantastic friendly service by both the employees and management. Classico's feature a variety of Mediterranean and Portuguese cuisine. Some great aspects of the restaurant is their use and selection of fresh ingredients, individualized service, and intimate atmosphere. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and sat. After getting situated the owner approached us and started a casual conversation and asked us if we were interested in eating seafood or meat. We chose seafood and the owner then informed us that he would prepare us a personalized platter for two that we could share. This was kind of a relief because the menu was small didn’t have many items that were tempting to me. He also helped us pick out a bottle of Portuguese wine that complemented our dinner perfectly. . We were very impressed with the quality and freshness of food that we were served. Our Appetizer was grilled Ahi Tuna that had been brought into the restaurant that day. Our platter had some of the best tasting seafood that we have ever had, each prepared in a different way with a complementary fruit or vegetable. I really enjoyed the small and intimate atmosphere, there were about 20 small tables inside and four tables on their small patio at the entrance. Overall it had a very warm and cozy feel. I would recommend Classicos to anyone who enjoys fresh ethnic food for a moderate and fair price. If you enjoy family run places rather than franchise type establishments this is the place to go. The service is helpful and goes beyond expectations, perfect for small family gatherings or couples of all ages. Also returned six months later and the wait staff and owner recognized me immediately!
