Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking!Read more

Pajo's has an excellent location in Rocky Point Park! We've walked over a few times this summer, to enjoy traditional fish & chips at the picnic tables in the park! The fish is great and the chips are thick and hot! It's a traditional, good old-fashioned fish & chips place! The bonus being you get to enjoy your food while looking out at the ocean. It's always busy, so sometimes the wait can be a bit much, but it's worth it! They've added healthy options to the menu too, like a salad with salmon on it I believe (which I didn't try personally, but my friend had it and said it wasn't bad at all!), so if you don't want the grease, try that...or live a little and enjoy!Read more
