We ordered Chicken kothu parotta and Mutton kothu parotta online for takeout, which was really easy and fast. The kothu parotta is made with diced parotta and mixture of eggs,chicken/mutton and spices and served with gravy. It tasted really good and had fair amount of quantity for the price. We tried this spot for our Anniversary. We were lucky and ended up getting a spot st the bar without reservations. We had booked at another restaurant but due to the power outage they were closed. Anyways, happy mistake finding Patois. The food was AMAZING and the service and cocktails were pretty fantastic too!!! We ordered a lot of food, I just wanted to try it all. My fav was the crispy pork belly, jerk chicken, and dirty rice. I can’t wait come back again to try more off the menu. Read more

The portion is great to save for a quick bite the next day. The tables are a bit close together in the room off the main room but the attentiveness of the servers makes up for it! Read more

The Decor is fantastic. Tables and chairs are well-constructed, and the lighting sets a charming mood. The food is well-prepared and fresh. Honey Garlic Sesame Chicken (not quite General Tao, but close enough) was very crunchy and well-textured. They used real honey so the sauce on the chicken was thick and rich. The beef rollover was good and cooked well but could have had a bit more sauce in it, a little dry to chew and swallow. The real treat was the soup-filled pork dumplings which exploded with flavour every time. This is an active and busy restaurant, so be prepared for lots of people eating and settling at tables. The staff works to clear the tables quickly, but they can sometime seem abrupt in their manner. Washroom has modern fixtures and is kept clean. Read more

We went there for nice dinner during winterlisious 2012. Overall restaurant is very busy but cozy and romantic. Our server was running around in hurry and as a result during entire evening mixed up who ordered what, since it was only two of us it was ok to switch. Food Overall was very good: My appetizer was yumm and so is my the other person, soft deep fried calamari was excellent. Chicken skewers were moist and sauce was perfectly spicy. For the main dish disappointment arrived, all main dishes come with rice and stir fry. Stir fry was the WORST I have ever tried, super hard giant pieces of cabbage+ raw zucchini made it unpleasant both on taste and texture. Main dish of red curry was excellent and rice was perfectly done. Basil beef was amazing (properly the softest piece of beef I have ever tried in my life). Desserts were good too my mango-chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and banana fritter had amazing crunchy but sweet coating on it . Read more
