If you’re looking to impress your family, Maison Boulud in the Ritz Carlton is the place to go for Easter brunch. Usually, Maison Boulud offers weekend brunch with either a two- or three-course fixed-price menu; on Easter weekend, you can expect some little extras. This will inevitably include some of chef Riccardo Bertolino’s more popular dishes like tuna tartare, lobster brioche, and more.
Chez Lévêque is a classic French bistro situated on Laurier, and during Easter it’s a great place to spend time with family, especially at brunch! They normally have a chalkboard menu which includes all the French classics, and while the menu hasn’t been finalized yet, last year, their Easter brunch included delights such as foie gras, duck confit, risotto and more. They take brunch seriously!
Renoir restaurant in the Sofitel Hotel will be hosting an elaborate Easter brunch. They are offering three services, at 11:30 am, noon, and 1:30 pm at a set price of $85. There will be a bounty of food offered by head chef Olivier Perret, including an oyster station, smoked salmon, shrimp, rack of lamb, beef filet and plenty of cured meats and cheeses to satisfy any appetite! And you can’t miss pastry chef Roland Del Monte’s desserts like rum baba, financiers, madeleines, macaroons and more.
If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary to do for Easter, why not try Easter brunch on a boat! Bota Bota’s Easter plans include a Bath and Brunch package that includes access to their baths, a mimosa and their brunch menu, which will include a fruit plate, and a choice of a pulled ham grilled cheese, a clafoutis-inspired mushroom flan, or crêpes filled with fruit and cream cheese for a set price of $80. Absolutely fabulous!
Auberge Saint Gabriel is going all-out for brunch, especially since they don’t usually open for brunch. With a set price, you can have your fill of pastries including chocolatines, brioches, and croissants. And while the menu has not been finalized just yet, last year it included a white bean soup with maple braised pork, as well as a Swiss cheese and onion tart.
Easter brunch at La Fabrique will be delicious. And with four services at $32 (and a kid’s menu at $15), you can’t go wrong! You’ll start your Easter brunch with a citrus salad with romano beans, flavoured croutons and jalapeno. Then you have a choice of salmon gravlax, mozzarella di bufala, or a rabbit and bacon ballotine. This is followed by a salad of sunchokes and wild mushrooms, or Quebec lamb croquette. And don’t forget dessert!
If you’re looking to get away from the city, Chateau Vaudreuil’s restaurant Villa d’Este is hosting an Easter brunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. They will be offering Easter surprises, musicians, an appearance by the Easter bunny, and more. Perfect for the whole family! The cost is $55 per person, $27.50 for children aged 4 to 11, and free for children under 3 years old.
