Kristen Fink
Dr. Kristen Fink grew up on a dairy/grain farm near Montmartre, Saskatchewan, which is a small town of 500, located 1 hour southeast of Regina. Upon graduating from Montmartre High School, Dr. Fink did her pre-optometry courses at the University of Regina. She then completed her optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. After spending 4 years in Ontario, Dr. Fink realized she is really a small town Saskatchewan girl at heart, and so she decided to come back to Saskatchewan. She joined FYidoctors and worked in Prince Albert, Melfort, and La Ronge for 9 great years. During that time, she had a daughter named Blake, and a son named Jasper. She realized that having her children closer to family would be important and so her and her husband decided to move to Regina in June 2020. She happily accepted the opportunity to work at FYidoctors Regina Grasslands, Moosomin and Whitewood. Dr. Fink makes her home now on an acreage in the RM of Edenwold. She spends her time hanging out with her family, playing outdoors with the children, and reading whenever she gets a chance. She has a special interest in travelling and exploring other cultures, and is happy that optometry can offer her the chance to take advantage of this interest.
