“We believe a dog is a member of the family and we treat them with all the respect they deserve,” says Christina Jez, founder of Walks and Wags. She understands quite clearly the importance of a pet within the family: she grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and developed a natural affinity with them.
It is this love of animals that spurred Christina to launch her own dog-walking service in 1999. “Walks and Wags’ primary service is dog walking. We offer group walks, or one-on-one attention, to residents of Montreal and the West Island. Our priority is offering our clients and their pet a positive experience based on a solid relationship. It’s always hard to entrust your dog to somebody new, but when our clients see the bond of trust and respect we develop with their dogs, they realize that we are professionals who are worthy of their trust,” she adds.
