Slak Atelier-Boutique offers a line of women’s fashion that is a true reflection of owner Mélanie Duhaime’s vision. The boutique does double duty as an atelier where all of the young designer’s creations are produced and sewn. “What we’re offering is something truly unique,” she describes. “We work with layering of fabrics and contrasting colours, and with stretch fabrics that underscore the female body.” The clothes are sold in many boutiques in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada, and despatched from the company’s Villeray base.
