Goodbye Graffiti has been keeping Montreal’s streets clean since 2006. Clevens Louis began his career in Vancouver in 2003, and progressively climbed through the ranks to acquire his own Goodbye Graffiti franchise. His dedication, sociability, and environmental appreciation perfectly represents the company’s overarching values.
“I like to be out and about, and this business gives me an opportunity to do that,” Clevens shares. “We are doing something that is positive for the city.” Clevens’ pride reflects into the daily conduct of the business, and shines through his smoothly run workshop.
Goodbye Graffiti attends to a niche market associated with Montreal’s street art culture. “There’s all different kinds of art forms now,” explains Clevens. “I’ve learned to appreciate the art form of graffiti, but not the vandalism part of it.” Goodbye Graffiti only removes tagging, or acts of vandalism: “We remove what our clients consider vandalism.” If a client likes it, then the graffiti will stay. However, Goodbye Graffiti keeps a close watch on their clients’ walls: “We like them to know that everything is taken care of.”
“We get a lot of positive feedback,” explains Clevens. It’s not uncommon for passersby to stop and thank the technicians at work. “People really appreciate what we do.” Positive feedback pushes Goodbye Graffiti to maintain positive results.
