Guillaume Garant-Rousseau and Simon Schambier met while working at a gaming centre. Both were long-time members of the gaming community; Guillaume has been an amateur card player since childhood and Simon grew up in the world of competitive video gaming. They became friends and gradually developed an idea to open their own business.
The result of this friendship? L' Expedition, a games shop that specializes in collectible card and board games. The back room of the spacious premises on Saint-Hubert Street also serves as a games room, where players in the virtual gaming world meet in real life. "The gamer community is a pretty tight-knit one, and often based on the web," explains Guillaume, "so it's good to have a physical place where people can meet and play together."
