Valérie Forgues is a woman with ambition, talent and lots of ideas. Fashion for her is a source of self-expression and fun, and has always been a part of her life. However, becoming a mother has been just as much of an influence. After her child was born, she decided to create a job that would allow her to balance work with her role as a mom. "I wanted to create the perfect job, my perfect job," says Valérie.
For the job to be perfect, it had to have all the right elements: clothing, decoration, set design and photography, a joyous mix of all her passions. In 2012, Valérie opened a small second-hand shop in Mile End, but soon realized that the market was saturated and her products didn't attract customers. So in 2015, to be closer to home and her community, she opened BAZRdeVille on Saint-Roch in Parc-Extension.
