Glama Gal Tween Spa is dedicated to unlocking the inner beauty of all girls as well as creating a community of positive and confident young women. Founded in 2006 by sisters Laura and Josie Cannone, Glama Gal Tween Spa provides spa services tailored specifically to young women.
Tweens at heart, Laura and Josie got the idea for their spa after hosting Laura’s wedding shower. For the younger guests, they set up a “mini-mani” station and a “create your own lip gloss” craft. Both activities were huge hits with the kids, and led to their family members asking the sisters to host birthday parties with the same activities.
The sisters started a mobile service providing the full spa experience for birthday parties and other groups of girls. After seeing a great deal of demand from parents and children in the area, Laura and Josie decided Glama Gal Tween Spa needed a permanent home. Since then, the business has grown into several locations throughout Ontario.
