West Prep Children's Centre is a not-for-profit corporation. This means that the Centre must cover its operational costs but is not intended to make a profit for owners or shareholders. While some financial reserve is needed in case of unforeseen events, all other income is used to improve the children's experience.The Centre is run by a professional staff of Early Childhood Educators and assistants, managed by a full-time Supervisor. The Centre is governed by the Parent Board of Directors which has legal responsibility for the Centre's affairs, including staff employment and audited financial statements. Members of the Board include the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Centre Supervisor. Elections are held at the Annual General Meeting.
