Hi all, I am glad to hear that the food is good! However, there is one problem with this restaurant, and that is pollution. We, the people who live north of the restaurant, and who are in the immediate vicinity of it, cannot, unfortunately, enjoy our back yards, cannot put the laundry on the washing line, because of a very rancid, sharp smell that comes out of the chimney of this restaurant. I went to speak with the owner, and was met with hostility by both, his patrons and the owners themselves. We have complained to the city, but it seems that they don't care? So, I appeal to you, the patrons of this restaurant, and I am asking you to speak with the owners and ask them to be more considerate of the neighbours, as we, too, would like to enjoy our food, while sitting in our backyards. love their soups, especially eggplant with green curry conconut milk chicken basil soup with rice because it is so spicy and healthy and filling, and mary the owner is so sweet she really looks after you

The Best Thai Food

Very delicious food. I have tried most of their dishes and have never been unsatisfied with what I ordered. And those springs rolls they serve is the best that I have ever had. Keep up the good work Khmer Thai.

We came all the way from Hamilton (2 hour driving time) and were very disappointed. Service was poor and we didn't get the Cashew Chicken we ordered. Instead our waiter said he ordered Golden Beef by mistake and we should take it as its very popular... no other choice. Neither of us like beef so we basically left 90% of it. We love Thai food and always order Cashew Chicken wherever we go. We were extremely disappointed in Khmer Thai. The place is not fancy and very cold, so cold we kept our winter coats on throughout dinner. On the way out the waiter said next time he will give us chicken. Unfortunately, there will not be a next time! So sad to have such an unfortunate dinner! We used the high ratings (was 5* on average) to choose this restaurant... they are not an accurate description of Khmer, 2-star at best.

TRUE!!! This is the best place West of Kingston and let me tell you!! I was soooo happy when I found this spot!! There is a taste and flavour about this style of food, that is truly addictive!! David and his family get to know you as Family if you come back as a repeat client. Don't expect fancy ambience, but expect to have your taste buds explode and leave with a very full belly!!!

The best Thai/Cambodian west of Kingston or the countries themselves.

Incredible, I always eat here after a 3 year hunt of searching for anything close to good in the entire city. I advise anyone who knows their Thai or Cambodian to give this place a chance. They have been taught by a master out of Kingston Ontario when meeting him in Thailand.

I always order take out and I always order #5 its the best thai food I've ever had. Although the inside of the restaurant looks like a pack of crayons (Yellow and red walls) the food is absolutely delicious! You wont regret it.

I've eaten at a lot of thai restaurants but this is THE place to go. Awesome curry and nice sized portions too. Unlike other thai places the pieces of chicken are huge and the curry is extremely tasty. The people in our party had the pad thai and another curry dish. All loved their dinner. The decor isn't much to look at (it used to be a pizza place) but that really doesn't matter here and the food is reasonably priced. The owners were really nice too. This place is the best. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing thai/cambodian food. Very flavourful. Clean. Probably the best thai/cambodian food I have ever had, and I've had alot. Nice family owned and run restaurant. Inexpensive. One of those places you might pass by if you were looking in the window...but trust me...go for the food, not the atmosphere.
