I would like to share my experience at Citra Hair Studio. I spoke with Ashley regarding a hair style for my thinning hair due to a medical condition. Ashley discussed many different styles that I might consider... I am so happy with the cut she gave me, my hair looks thicker and suits my face shape... I have had many people tell me how much they like my new hair style.

Citra Hair Studio was highly recommended to me by a good friend who, knowing the issues I have had with my hair, knew I'd be happy with the service they could provide. She was right!!!! I was very happy with the service the staff provided and the time the stylist took to make me feel comfortable. We discussed the look I was "going for". I explained how my biggest concern is always that I'm happy when I'm sitting in the chair only to be disappointed when I walked out the door. I can never seem to style it as well. She helped me understand why that happens and provided insight into what works best for my hair. The end result was that I was able to get the look I was going for and the knowledge to maintain it. Thank you Ashley!....I'll definitely be back.
I have been going to this salon for a good number of years. Because my stylist left, I changed my stylist to a woman named Ashley. The first time with her was terrific. She gave me a great cut, which wasn't hard because I just wanted a trim. This time it was a different story.
My hair had grown quite a bit longer and I wanted another layer added on to the two already there. Part way through the cut, I reminded her what I wanted because it seemed that she was leaving the top too long. She told me not to worry and that she was going to be sure I got what I wanted. Another 10 minutes passed and she clearly wasn't putting in another layer. I again told her what I wanted to which she told me not to worry and that she would lighten up the top after she dried it. She showed it to me and I said that it looked like two separate cuts, a bob and a layer much longer. She again told me not to worry and that she would make sure it was layered.
I finally gave up as it was clear she wasn't listening to me. Ultimately I paid 70 dollars for a cut that looks as I described above. When I called to complain she told me to come back and she would fix it. I couldn't get the courage up to do that as I had lost faith in her being able to cut my hair as I wanted and that she would further take length off my hair without proper shaping.
I called and left a message saying that I was a long time client who was really unhappy with my cut and no one got back to me.
If this is the way they treat long time clients, I can't imagine what they do with new ones. I am now on the lookout for a new salon.

I love my new stylist at Citra Hair Studio... It took my forever to find the right place for me but now I have!! I get compliments on my hair all the time and it feels great :)
Ive been to so many salons over the last number of years trying to find someone who understands me and my hair. The Citra team was warm and welcoming and my hair turned out fantastic. Mandye listened to my needs and really took her time looking at my hair. The best consultation ive had in years.
