The Keg Steakhouse & Bar invites you to their dining room. This steakhouse proposes steaks for 26$ to 60$. They are easily accessible by car. The neighboring area is notable for its stores.
I was excited for 2 weeks to go out to celebrate a friend's birthday. My favorite meal is always the pistachio salmon. After waiting 2 hours and not being asked if I would like a drink refill the waitress brought a burnt black slice of salmon. Not normally do I complain but it was obvious my meal had been sitting under a hot lamp for a while. So I asked for a replacement. They brought me one and the manager was very condescending. Will not be back.
Miss the salad bar, this was the last Keg that provided a salad bar and everyone enjoyed it, this would be nice to have back as there are not very many restaurants that have salad bars anymore, making it unique.
I go there with my family a lot,and the steak and salad bar is great. It is a decent steakhouse within food. But when my family and I go for a nice supper it's great. It also has great staff and service.
I love the keg, I go there once a week! The food is always great, I love the drinks and as always customer service is #1 priority;););).
I always like to have a drink in the bar side before we go to our table.
2 thumbs up for never disappointing;)
Ever since the salad bar was axed I have been continuously disappointed in the food there.
I was there a few weeks back and sat in the lounge. The drinks and wine were great; the service started okay, but ended rather poorly.
My steak was overdone and the crab was quite soft shelled and chewy meat. My plate was too hot to touch, I suspect that my food was prepared and sat under a heat lamp for 10 minutes.
This could go either way.....server or manager...I blame the manager in a restaurant that was absolutely packed; there needs to be some relief from their end. I was more disappointed because I had to eat a medium steak when I like it blue rare...I don’t have the heart to toss it in the trash! I'm sure the chef would have been upset to know that the servers didn’t have the time to serve the food fresh and the managers weren't contributing to the service. At one point a manager stood in front of my table peering up at a TV to watch a playoff hockey game.
I will return likely, and keep my fingers crossed....The Keg is a hometown favourite, but needs work. If this type of debacle occurs again, I will bring it to the attention of the owner.
