Miserable Experience All the Way Around
Absolutely miserable experience all the way around. Point blank. Was given a Birthday cake that was inaccurately decorated (despite being provided two photos), the order was incorrect (wrong flavour), and overall the taste was diplorable. Have never had a cake where the ratio of cake to icing was so unbalanced...great if you love icing I guess, but very unpleasant if you like cake in your cake. In addition, the little bit of actual cake we did get was about as stale as can be imagined. Customer service was horrendous. Called to express our dissatisfaction and was basically told to never use their service again. No full refund, no partial refund, no replacement cake, not even an apology. The person we spoke with actually went as far as to blame us. No satisfaction 100% guarenteed. Please order from The Cake Shop if you are looking for a room full of unhappy party guests, a fridge full of inedible cake...and well, basically a completely ruined Birthday event. Not even worth the one star I had to give in order to submit this review...
