Yesterday was Kelseys National Hiring Day. My son went in with his resume and was excited about the opportunity just to find out when he went in that the hiring manager wasnt even there at all that day and someone else had given him literally a 3 mins interview! What business does that! So disappointing and wont be returning especially to the Taunton and Harmony location on Oshawa!

What compels me to write this review is not the food, which was nothing special, or the service, which was less then stellar, or the restaurant atmosphere, which is comparable to any other Kelsey's restaurants that i have visited. This is driven exclusively by the disgusting and disappointing bar-tending practices I witnessed when I was sitting at the bar waiting for a table this Mothers day.
As i was there i ordered a draft lager and there was no problem with my beer specifically ... thankfully. However the bartender accidentally poured a second and stored it in the fridge for 30-40 minutes before passing it off to another unsuspecting patron as a crisp fresh draft at full price. In addition to this crude action as every beer was poured (save the lager i was drinking, for it was from a different tap) the overflow from the head was dumped into a glass on the bar and saved to be "filler" in the next glass of that beer requested. The Bartender, who hardly deserves to hold such a title as i am ashamed for all of us in that profession, was cycling flat beer to anyone who ordered either of the two Richards available, Creemore springs, or Heineken.
These practices in the open area of the resturant make any reasonable person question what happens in the the hidden, less accountable kitchen.
To beer lovers everywhere be forewarned, Kelsey's Oshawa- North is a place you should steer clear of.
