Teemendoia vibe and if youre looking for great caribbean food there's no better place other than Jamaica to get this high quality a meal. Looking for a full, big meal go Reggae Wrap, looking for snack sized go Power Patty
Place is a dump the owner follow-up on reviews he can not handle negative reviews he gets other guys to harass people who left negative reviews, listen the truth is your food is the worst caribbean food I ever tasted, jerk sauce??? really no taste at all tasted more like a light curry, what is the deal with that, are you kidding me, and the place looks like a dump, stop getting other people to harass people who tell the truth about your terrible food making skills
Phillip, or Fadah, as I call him, runs a great Jamaican Cuisine Restaurant here in Orangeville. I've had the pleasure of eating at his facility since he opened some years back.. The cuisine is uniquely Jamaican, cooked great, and served with Pride and Professionalism. I've also had his Home Banquet take out service twice now, serving over 30 people once and more the second time....awesome to say the least. Delivered on time, hot and Worth Every Penny Spent. In closing, may I say if your new to this kind of Cuisine or a seasoned old fellow like me, this place serves some of the best Jamaican Dishes I've ever eaten... Keep up the good work Phillip... Dutchymon
I will DEFINITELY visit again. Soulyve is great if you want real authentic Jamaican food. My favourite is the Ragge Wrap, extra spicy. It really is a hidden gem, literally, its hidden. My son lives in Orangeville and told me we just had to go, and being the restaurant lover am i just had to check it out. The staff is great and very helpful if like me, you don't know much about Jamaican food. Try it, you wont regret it!
Couldn't resist a supper of curried goat! Nicely prepared, thought the portion size could have been a bit bigger but this isn't a town with a huge Jamaican population that would be going somewhere else for a lower price. The salad with it was a good mix of fruit and greens, and a Red Stripe washed it down.
We ordered Drinks: Coconut water Pink Ting Starter: Veg Samosa $6 Soup Of the Day $8 (soup was lacking seasoning but the "soulyve" loaf and fried plantain that came with made up for it) Entrees: Jerk Chicken $10.50 came with rice and Peas and I chose Mumbo salad (the mango vinaigrette they dress it with is awesome, I wish they sold it!! hint hint.) Ackee and Saltfish $12.25 They only had Banana bread for dessert with a rum sauce. Sounds great but wish they had something else to offer. Maybe coconut cake or something like that. Over all I'll go again and again. The Three guys that run the place are happy and they look like they’re having a great time. Rock on and remember to keep a look out for the Food Spy
Definitely one of the best restaurant in Orangeville. The atmosphere is relaxed, with great music and welcoming people. Daily specials made with local fresh food and great chefs make Soulyve a treat everyday. The guys at Soulyve catered our wedding last summer and did an amazing job.
