Denise Georgiou-Newell has been planning events for most of her life. In high school, she planned an unofficial New Year's Eve school trip that appeared so official, parents handed in consent forms for their kids to go. As she got older, she quickly gained a reputation among friends and family as the person to call when an event needed to be planned, whether it was a birthday party or a wedding. And then, as Denise worked in the corporate world, she was consistently the go-to person for any events that took place in the office. It didn’t matter if there was an HR or marketing department that should be handling it; Denise was the one to ask.
